Dory is first and foremost a software developer and a geek. He is also an entrepreneur, an animal lover, snowboarder, startup veteran  and a world traveler.

Dory was born in Israel and started using computers at the age of eight, writing in Logo, then Pascal. Since beginning, he has never stopped learning new technologies and languages.

Over the years he’s been fascinated with entrepreneurship and has worked in various companies and projects. His work has allowed him to live on 4 continents, in many cities such San Francisco, Tel Aviv,  Sydney, Amsterdam, and more.

Dory has been fortunate to meet the smartest engineers in the world and to learn how to build awesome distributed teams. He has worked with development teams ranging from large R&D shops, like Microsoft, to small and crazy startups. From providing technology to banks to selling product pilots to partners, from raising millions in funding to selling millions’ worth of tech products and services, from experiencing the rush and hardships of M&A negotiations to building amazing products with incredible people, Dory’s experience is beyond diverse.

Dory still maintains the curiosity and passion he found when he was eight years old and still works with energy and joy. He is the driving force behind CoreTeam.io. He believes in bringing the Silicon Valley and Tel-Aviv ecosystem Having worked in the Silicon Valley and Tel-Aviv startup ecosystems, he wants to promote the same way of doing business all over the globe, and to build a different kind of company that connects high demand for awesome engineering with the best talent in the world.

As a kid, Dory was asked what he wanted to do when he grew up. He replied that he wanted to do something smart with technology and work all over the world. Thanks to the amazing people he’s met, he’s been fortunate to live out his dream! He hopes to continue building and selling technology for many years, to give back, and to create software that makes developers happy!

Dory also loves animals and nature and tends to visit a zoo when he visits a new city or to go for a hike in the woods. He he’s had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, you name it. He also tries to sneak in as many days of snowboarding as he can, so when he’s not working 14-15 hour days he is probably taking a weekend off in the snow.

Dory’s life mission and CoreTeam.io’s mission is to make geeks happy: to do the things that geeks love, to build amazing software, to make an impact, and most of all to leave the planet a better place than he found it.
